The 6th International Congress on Advance in Bioscience and Biotechnology was held in Hybrid, Aksara

The 6th International Congress on Advances in Bioscience and Biotechnology was held in Hybrid, Aksaray, Türkiye from July 25 till July 27, 2022. This conference little bit special in that it brought together more than one hundred scientists from different disciplines to share their research findings especially in the area of veterinary and anti-infectant amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The congress is also found participations from the relevant industry players. It also seeks to open new research and cooperation fields between those scientists and industries.

Sateera Biotech was also invited to this conference. It presented three papers – the outputs from its collaboration with scientists and researchers from the Institute of Bioproduct Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. One of the papers which form part of the keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Hesham A. El Enshasy under the title “The Future of Anti-infectives: Beyond Conventional Antibiotics”

Additional two papers were delivered by the relevant principal investigator from projects partnered between Sateera Biotech and the Institute of Bioproduct Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. They are:

1. Sateera®-based Sanitary Pad as Potential Natural Deodorizer by Assoc. Prof. Nur Izyan binti Wan Azelee, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and;

2. Spray Drying Evaluation for Development of Pineapple Prebiotic Powder and Prebiotic Properties by Dr. Nor Hasmaliana binti Abdul Manas, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Sateera Biotech also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ena Farma Pharmaceutical in Türkiye one of the upcoming wellness companies in Turkey to work together in developing anti infectant products for Asia and Europe market.
