Sateera Biotech and UTM join Hands for New Developments



Skudai, Johor: Sateera Biotech Sdn Bhd and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to develop two new health products that incorporate Sateera's cutting-edge formulation. The signing ceremony took place on August 2, 2022.




The MOA is a significant step towards creating innovative products prioritizing safety in health and wellness. The agreement will focus on developing two products incorporating Sateera's proprietary formulation, including a sanitary pad for natural freshness and a pineapple powder wellness booster fortified with prebiotics.


The partnership will also ensure that UTM provides quality assurance for Sateera's formulation, ensuring its safety and efficacy.



Representing Sateera Biotech at the signing ceremony, Dato' Loh Shin Siong, Founder of Sateera Biotech Sdn Bhd, Skyler Loh Kok Shen, CEO of Sateera Biotech Sdn Bhd, and Loh Ming Hui, Regional Manager and Corporate Affairs of Sateera Biotech Sdn Bhd. UTM was represented by Prof. Dr. Hesham El-Enshasy, Director of the Institute of Bioproduct Development, and Prof. Dr. Rosli Bin. MD. Illias, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
